Soderbergh challenges his directorial skills in this innovative paranormal narrative captured wholly from the viewpoint of a ghost. The Eyes of Tammy Faye
In the conflict between spirituality and money, the winner is obvious for materialism in Michael Showalter's delightfully tacky biopic regarding the shamed religious broadcaster plus her lawbreaking partner. Garfield acts as the venal Jim, who states at the beginning, “God does not want us to be poor,”. The couple begin profiting from the American public's Christian beliefs. It's a spectacle of tacky decor, overdone appearance and insincerity, however Chastain achieves to depict the real-life figure in a likable light. October 14th, 1.15am, the Film4 channel
